What is the admission process at The Lontana School? +

Our admission process is simple and transparent:

The age criteria for different classes are as follows:

  • Nursery: 2.5 to 3.5 years (as of 31st March)
  • LKG: 3.5 to 4.5 years
  • UKG: 4.5 to 5.5 years
  • Class I: 5.5 to 6.5 years

For higher classes, age criteria follow standard educational norms.

When do admissions open? +

Admissions for the new academic session typically open in December-January and continue until seats are filled. We recommend applying early as we have limited seats in each class.

For mid-session admissions (subject to seat availability), you can contact us anytime throughout the year.

What documents are required for admission? +

Required documents include:

  • Birth Certificate (original for verification)
  • Recent passport-size photographs (4-5 copies)
  • Aadhaar card copy of student and parents
  • Previous school transfer certificate (for Class I and above)

Is there an entrance exam for admission? +

For Nursery to UKG: No entrance exam. Admission is based on interaction and age criteria.

For Class I and above: A simple assessment/interaction may be conducted to understand the child's current academic level. This is not a competitive exam but helps us place the child appropriately.

Can I schedule a school tour before admission? +

Absolutely! We encourage all parents to visit our campus before making a decision. School tours are available on Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
